Lambda256, a blockchain technology company and subsidiary of Dunamu, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Crystal Intelligence, a global blockchain analytics firm, to jointly deliver integrated anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) solutions to financial institutions and virtual asset service providers (VASPs) in South Korea.
The agreement centers on integrating Lambda256's FRAML compliance engine, Clair, with Crystal Intelligence's global blockchain analytics platform. The combined offering is designed to strengthen the AML and CTF capabilities required by Korean financial institutions and VASPs as regulatory scrutiny over digital assets continues to intensify.
Under the partnership, Lambda256 will combine data accumulated from South Korea's financial and virtual asset markets with Crystal Intelligence's global VASP dataset to deliver a unified compliance solution. The collaboration also extends to the post-issuance stablecoin monitoring space, providing mint/burn tracking, multi-chain flow analysis, and liquidity and risk analytics.
Crystal Intelligence is a Netherlands-based global firm specializing in blockchain analytics and cryptocurrency compliance. The company holds prestigious industry recognition, including the 'RegTech and Compliance Project of the Year' and 'Best Blockchain Analytics & Investigations Solution' awards, and received investment from Tether, one of the world's largest stablecoin issuers. Crystal Intelligence serves leading financial institutions, government bodies, and law enforcement agencies worldwide. Its Crystal Foresight dashboard — offering on-chain attribution data for domestic VASPs alongside stablecoin monitoring and business intelligence — has established the company as a trusted intelligence platform in the global virtual asset compliance market.
"This partnership brings together Lambda256's FRAML capabilities — built on years of experience and data from the Korean institutional market — with Crystal Intelligence's global analytics expertise," said Michael Cho, CBO at Lambda256. "We are committed to delivering practical solutions that enable financial institutions and virtual asset service providers to manage risk within a unified compliance framework, from Travel Rule obligations to stablecoin monitoring."
