Lambda256, a blockchain technology company and subsidiary of Dunamu, announced on September 9 the official launch of CLAIR, an ontology based blockchain data intelligence platform, at the Upbit Developer Conference (UDC) 2025 held in Seoul.
According to Lambda256, CLAIR is a platform designed to combine on chain and off chain data to enable real time tracking and analysis of digital asset crimes such as illegal money laundering, hacking, and fraud. The company expects the platform to significantly improve regulatory compliance and investigative response frameworks across the digital asset market. During the conference, Lambda256’s CTO, Rei Nam, demonstrated CLAIR’s AI powered reporting capabilities.
CLAIR offers several differentiated features, including AI based real time tracking and reporting, ontology driven knowledge graph visualization, and integrated on chain and off chain data analysis. In particular, the platform automatically classifies and analyzes large scale transaction data using AI to identify suspicious activities, while providing reporting tools that allow experts to focus on high priority cases. Lambda256 emphasized that “CLAIR is not designed to replace AML professionals, but to act as a powerful assistant that enhances the capabilities of limited human resources.”
Michael Cho, CBO of Lambda256, stated, “The global anti money laundering (AML) software market is already experiencing rapid growth. In South Korea, demand for AML solutions among exchanges and financial institutions is increasing quickly due to the enforcement of the Act on Reporting and Using Specified Financial Transaction Information and the mandatory implementation of the Travel Rule. CLAIR is already undergoing proof of concept (PoC) projects with domestic and international investigative agencies and financial institutions.”
He added, “Following this launch, we plan to enter major B2B and B2G markets across Asia in 2026, while expanding hybrid and on premise deployment models. From 2027 onward, we aim to expand into global markets including North America and Europe, further evolving CLAIR into an AI driven operational automation and data intelligence platform that connects traditional financial data with blockchain data and establishes itself as a global standard.”
