Lambda256, a blockchain technology company and subsidiary of Dunamu, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with OpenAsset, a blockchain fintech company specializing in stablecoin issuance technology, to jointly foster the stablecoin ecosystem in South Korea.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to pursue technical and business collaboration necessary to enable the regulation friendly and practical circulation and adoption of stablecoins in the domestic market.

Under the partnership, Lambda256 will provide key technologies centered around its global blockchain infrastructure service, Nodit. These include stable node operations capable of handling large scale traffic, as well as on chain data analysis and tracking capabilities. In particular, Nodit supports major global mainnet networks such as Ethereum, Aptos, and Avalanche, and offers proven multi chain infrastructure technology designed to ensure both reliability and scalability for domestic stablecoin operators.

In addition, the two companies plan to combine OpenAsset’s Korean won based stablecoin issuance technology with Lambda256’s blockchain infrastructure to jointly develop several initiatives. These include building a stablecoin issuance and distribution platform for institutional use, developing on chain settlement systems linked to real world payments, and co developing on chain infrastructure optimized for stablecoin based financial services.

Lambda256 has extensive experience in developing and operating a wide range of blockchain services in collaboration with major financial institutions both in South Korea and abroad. These include security token offerings (STO), digital asset and NFT trading platforms, and electronic registration systems. Through this agreement, Lambda256 aims to further strengthen its position as a trusted infrastructure partner in the stablecoin sector.
